Visitors to Halesworth will be able to explore and rediscover this lost heritage in two ways:
1. By following the town’s MALT Trail around the remaining buildings and other locations associated with the development of the industry.
2. By immersing themselves in the MALT Experience, an intimate recreation and explanation of a traditional malting environment at The Cut Arts Centre.
A MALT Trail leaflet will guide the visitor around the Trail and into the Experience. These leaflets are available at Visitor Information Points in Halesworth Library, the Angel Hotel, St Mary’s Church, Halesworth & District Museum and The Cut.
